Vietnam: Dongwha orders another energy plant and fiber dryer from Büttner

The delivery of the equipment is set for the third quarter of 2020.

Dongwha International/South Korea and Vietnam Rubber Group (VRG)/Vietnam founded the joint venture „VRG Dongwha MDF“ in 2008. Since its establishment two drying plants were ordered and installed by Büttner in the southern region of Vietnam near Ho-Chi-Minh-City (formerly known as Saigon).

A new order was placed recently by Dongwha International as an individual enterprise with Büttner for a new energy plant and fiber dryer. The new plant will be installed in the northern region of Vietnam near Hanoi with acacia as the raw material for the MDF boards. This is the second order from our long-standing customer for an energy plant and dryer in combination proving once more the advantages and quality of both systems from a single supplier.

The new energy plant has an overall firing capacity of 75 MW. The grate as well as dust burners and granulate injections will produce the necessary flue gas in the combustion chamber. Flue gas will supply the new thermal oil heater consisting of a radiation and convection heater with heat. Thermal oil consumers of the new line will be the new ContiRoll® press from Siempelkamp as well as the steam generator provided by Büttner. The indirect steam generator will produce steam for the Refiner, EcoResinator and the glue factory.
The biggest flue gas consumer will be the new fiber dryer with a throughput capacity of 45 t/h.

The delivery of the equipment is set for the third quarter of 2020.
