Toronto-based NORBORD is one of the largest international producers of wood-based panels and has installed a new OSB line at its Inverness location in Scotland. BÜTTNER also supplied the drying technology for this plant over the course of its long-standing business relationship with NORBORD.
BÜTTNER's Type 6.5 x 36 R single-path drum dryer and its new energy plant with 55 MW total combustion capacity were delivered and installed.
The project has now been successfully completed with the acceptance of the equipment.
