Hunton, a manufacturer of insulation boards, which is headquartered in Gjovik, approximately 100 kilometres north of Oslo, is currently building a new factory on the new neighbouring industrial estate. The contract with Hunton for the delivery of an electrically heated fibre dryer also covers the complete mechanical installation, including steel structures and insulation.

Work commenced at the beginning of December in 2017 and was concluded even before the agreed deadline in February 2018 – the work was immediately accepted by a very happy customer.

It was remarkable here that the winter was very severe even by Norwegian standards and that the ongoing outdoor assembly work was carried out at consistently low temperatures that sometimes fell to below -20°C, which required the continuous removal of snow. The customer informed us that more than five metres of new snow fell during this time!

The installation of the other systems is currently in full swing with production planned to commence in summer this year.
