PG BISON, which is a wood-based materials processor that is headquartered in Johannesburg and belongs to the South African-based KAP Holding, has placed an order for a complete Büttner plant within the framework of the expansion of its location in Piet Retief.

Büttner’s scope of delivery includes a Type 6.5 x 32 R chip dryer with flash tube pre-dryer and an energy plant with a combustion capacity of 43 MW.

The energy plant will be supplying the drum dryer with the required heat output, which will be generated through the incineration of biomass, wood dust and production residues.

As a customer who has decided to use one of BÜTTNER’s complete plants and the associated integrated automation, PG BISON will benefit from interface-free planning and trouble-free operation after installation.
