The italian company SAIB placed an order with Büttner during the turn of the year 2019/2020 for a new drum dryer type R for the site Caorso in the province Piacenza.
SAIB is specialized in making particle boards made of recycled wood which in terms allows their clients to manufacture sustainable furniture. The use of recycled wood demands special requirements concerning the dryer regarding wear protection, discharge of foreign substances and emissions.
For this reason Büttner will be supplying a single-path drum dryer type R with a flake throughput of up to 85 t/h together with a special combustion chamber and sand separation chamber. Furthermore Büttner will also be supplying an emission-optimized multi-fuel burner type BCB for dust and gas as well as further components in a particularly wear protected design.
