After the successful particleboard project in Piet Retief Büttner has been awarded another contract from PG Bison. The South African wood-based panel producer orders a new MDF plant from Siempelkamp and integrates within this contract a Büttner fibre dryer and Büttner energy system.
In 2019 Büttner received the order for a big drum dryer type 6,5 x 36 R with an energy system which provides flue gas to the dryer. This system will go into operation in the first quarter of 2022.
For the same site Büttner will deliver a further dryer and energy system for the new MDF line. The fibre dryer has a throughput capacity of 26 t/h and the energy system with the same grate firing capacity as line 1 provides flue gas for the dryer and the further consumers of the MDF plant with thermal oil and steam.
The overall concept of dryer, energy system and the associated, integrated automatization out of one hand once again convinces PG Bison.
