Krefeld, September 9th, 2021 – With more than 2,000 drying and energy plants installed worldwide, BÜTTNER Energie- und Trocknungstechnik GmbH is one of the market leaders in their industry. In addition to planning, construction and commissioning, there is a special focus on the service business and the lifecycle management of the plants – from individual components to complete energy plants, dryers or burners.

In order to align the service area even more customer-oriented, Stefan Jehle has been strengthening the team of the Büttner Service Center as Head of Sales / Business Development since July 01, 2021.
"Today, lifecycle management is one of the central topics in the planning, construction, and operation of all types of plants, not least due to sustainability aspects," says Mr. Jehle.

Mr. Jehle wants to push this approach more strongly in the future with the involvement of customers. In doing so, Büttner will focus on the exchange of knowledge and experience with customers and advance lifecycle management together with them. In addition, Mr. Jehle expects positive effects with regard to long-term loyalty and an increase in satisfaction through the early involvement of customers in the innovation process.

The new Büttner Service Center is therefore positioning itself with a clear sales orientation - always with the customer in focus: In addition to the development of proactive sales structures as well as training offers and a digitalization of after-sales processes, the range of spare parts and services will also be expanded.

"With this new alignment and the stronger focus on customer activation or involvement, we will be able to offer our customers even more targeted services and support them in their day-to-day business in the best possible way," emphasizes Dirk Homann, Managing Director at Büttner.

Incidentally, Stefan Jehle was born with an affinity for wood as a building material: he first completed an apprenticeship as a carpenter in his parents' company, which manufactured ecological wooden houses. His many years of practical experience, including in after-sales in the agricultural and construction machinery industry, are rounded off by his studies in agricultural sciences in Göttingen (bachelor's degree) and a master's degree in management from the Lahr University of Applied Sciences.
