What's the best way to behave on the road? The Verkehrswacht's school for young road users regularly conducts cycling proficiency sessions at primary schools. The K&L publishing house has – in conjunction with Verkehrswacht Krefeld e. V. – published a new child-friendly colouring and workbook with digital content and success checks to help embed the lessons. We at BÜTTNER think: That's a great idea!

That's why we wanted to support the project:
The book teaches third- and fourth-grade children about road dangers in an age-appropriate and fun way while showing them how to behave properly and preparing them for their cycling tests. It teaches them that traffic signs need to be observed, when a bicycle is roadworthy and why it makes sense to wear a safety helmet when cycling. They're also taught how to behave correctly in the event of an accident on the road. A digital check on learning success tells the children whether they've correctly solved the tasks set in the book. The colouring and workbooks are being distributed free of charge to elementary school children on Krefeld with the help of many local businesses. And we're very happy to support the work.
