At the Allendale site in South Carolina, USA, the cyclones and piping of the two existing dryers will be replaced.
Great emphasis is now being placed on maximum wear protection, and the new SIEMPELKAMP Energy and Drying cyclones and raw gas lines will be manufactured from correspondingly durable materials.
The three dryers in High Level, Alberta, Canada, will also receive a SIEMPELKAMP Energy and Drying upgrade. The cyclones and piping will also be replaced with wear-resistant components.
SIEMPELKAMP Energy and Drying will also supply a replacement ring for the drum dryer.
In Nacogdoches, Texas, West Fraser operates one of the oldest OSB plants, and here, too, the dryer cyclones and supply lines from the drum dryers will be replaced with new, more durable components.
